The RIPTTM Multi-dimensional Athletic Profile, or MAP, is our total athletic performance assessment system.  We test the body through all aspects of movement to make sure that the body is functioning in the appropriate manner for which it was designed.  This includes not only testing the muscles individually, however, checking their ability to work in harmony with the rest of the body during movement. This ability is one of our primary concerns and if it hasn't been one of yours, it should be.

Each test is aimed at assessing the individual's muscle syntax. This means that biomechanic function is checked to ensure that an athlete's muscles are intact and firing in the proper sequence. The test also checks for injuries and abnormalities before additional force, speed or stress is applied. Following the evaluation process we direct a strategic corrective or maintnance exercise action plan to enhance the athlete's natural resources for development. A comprehensive baseline is always the foundation upon which you should build athletic success.

Having great game stats, a high vertical, a fast 40-yard dash or a strong bench press is not enough. None of these measures are reliable indicators of an athlete's sustainablity or rate of recovery. Just how much is an athlete worth to their team if they can't play?  Here is an example of the differences in functionality:  Let's say 2 people each have a 500 lb bench press.  However, when they both stand up to do the same motion with weight, one of them can still push 500 lbs in the standing position, but the other cannot. Just because they both can do the same bench, doesn't mean that both of them have the same strength or power capacity/functionality.

You can increase your athleticism with a variety of ways and means, but at TFCwe make sure that whatever our athlete's do, they will be able to perform it safely and self-sutainably, to prevent injury while making certain that they can perform better the next time.  Self sabotage or self destruction is all-to-common in athletic performance preparation.  The athletic body was designed to flow as one unit and that is precisely how our RIPT MAPTM works.
